- Yes, my mother suffers from dementia - she asks the same question about 5 times in a row, before she realizes she has already asked the question. If it could help to restore some short term memory, that would be wonderful. I think this reminds more of Limitless than Planet of the Apes.

- That's why my favorite place is Mt. Phillips at Philmont Scout Ranch near Cimmaron, NM - gotta be a scouter to get in! You have to back pack up to Mt. Phillips, also a great place to watch the sunrise.

- Our service manager died this year. He was also 59 and also a two pack a day smoker. He died of a heart attack, but the younger generations do not associate the stress that smoking puts on your heart. They seem to think that the only consequence of smoking is lung cancer.

- You are correct - had a kid that played competitve baseball on the team my husband coached. Had scholorship offers and a real chance of making it to at least a farm team for the pros. Got addicted to meth, he now works manual labor at a glass shop.

- Wham, the city of Grand Rapids will give Betty a grand send off, just like they did President Ford. If the Fords did snub the city, I don't believe its residents had any hurt feelings over it.

- Yeah, we couldn't give our employees a raise this year. However we still provide their health insurance at no cost to them, and that went up about 30%. While my employees did not get a raise - they also did not take a pay cut like my husband and I did.

- I heard from a friend (so please don't ask for a link) that the last American car dealership in San Franciso has closed up. You can't find a Ford, Chevy, GM, Dodge, etc in the city. When we quit buying American we started the process for our jobs to go overseas.
